Created on 1 January 2022, the BSE (Bordeaux Sciences Economiques / Bordeaux School of Economics) laboratory is the largest economics research centre in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. The BSE brings together economists working on science/industry innovations, the sustainable economics of socio-ecosystems, socio-economic and urban development issues in the North and South, and the history and theory of international economics and finance.

Created from the merger of the GREThA and Larefi laboratories on the Bordeaux site, BSE is a joint CNRS and University of Bordeaux research unit and is associated with INRAE.
