On November 26 and 27, 2026, the ISVV will bring together international experts to discuss the future challenges facing grapevine and wine research.
The Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ISVV) at the University of Bordeaux is organizing an international conference on “Future Challenges in Vine and Wine Research.”
This event will bring together researchers and experts from around the world to address the major scientific, environmental, and societal challenges facing the wine industry, including adaptation to climate change, vineyard resilience, and evolving winemaking practices.
Through plenary sessions and roundtable discussions, participants will share their expertise, stimulate innovation, and foster new international collaborations.
To ensure that everyone can fully participate in the discussions, simultaneous English/French interpretation will be available during the conference.
The main findings of the conference will be published in an international journal.
