Vine and wine law covers all legal issues relating to the wine market, from the production of wine to its final consumption.

This theme, which is firmly rooted in the local landscape and economy, is a fundamental issue for IRDAP, which finds it a means of forging extremely rich interdisciplinary links and firmly anchoring itself in a highly diverse professional environment.

This theme, which is firmly rooted in the local landscape and economy, is a fundamental issue for IRDAP, which sees it as a means of forging extremely rich interdisciplinary links and firmly anchoring itself in a highly diverse professional environment.

Interdisciplinarity is a driving force behind the IRDAP's integration into the ISVV (Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin), a research centre that brings together all the University of Bordeaux's research (15), training and technology transfer units in the wine industry (biology, oenology, human sciences, etc.).
IRDAP's teacher-researchers are at the forefront of the development of "the legal, cultural and economic dimensions of the wine industry" (one of ISVV's missions) and take part in conferences and publications in partnership with other research units at the University of Bordeaux.

Members of the IRDAP regularly participate in research work on the "Vine and wine" theme: Jean-Marc Bahans, Alexandre Bienvenu, Ronan Raffray, Bernard Saintourens
