OenoMacroWine Pro was held on 6 December 2023.

The wine sector is facing major challenges linked to climate change, the agro-ecological transition, changing consumer expectations and the demands of society. These profound changes are putting current knowledge and oenological practices into perspective.
The transformation of ripening characteristics due to climate change, the reduction in inputs and the adoption of more sustainable viticultural and oenological practices are all having an impact on the composition of grape berries, the physicochemical and sensory balance of wines and microbiological processes. It is therefore essential to prepare the wine industry for better performance by giving it the tools to preserve the quality of its wines, secure its production, meet market demands and reduce its environmental impact.

The ŒNOMacrowinePRO day is dedicated to wine industry professionals. Based on the programme of the ŒnoMacrowine 2023 scientific conference, which took place from 10 to 13 July 2023 in Bordeaux, the organisers have selected a number of works that address issues close to home, which will be presented to you throughout the day!

The main issues will include grape and wine quality, oenological practices and processes, and the diversity of micro-organisms in vines and wine.
