15th Sept - Visit of Bordeaux - Bordeaux City Center  

  • To join the meeting point from ISVV, you can take the bus number 23 direction "Hippodrome" and stop at the "Gare de Bègles" station.
  • Then get on the tramway "C" direction to "Parc des Expositions and get off at "Quinconques" station
  • Your journey should last about 45 minutes
  • 16:30 : meeting point at the Bordeaux tourism office located 12 cours du XXX juillet in Bordeaux
  • Discovering of the old down town of Bordeaux. The visit will last about 2 hours.
  • The tour will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide, and you will walk through the center of Bordeaux.
  • 18:00 : End of the guided visit.

 16th Sept - Wineries and Sustainaibilty Visits

  • 12:30 - End of classes - Free time for lunch
  • 14:00 - Departure from ISVV by bus
  • 15:00 - Visit of Château La Croizille & Tour Baladoz
  • 17:00 - End of the visit, return to ISVV  

17th Sept - Visit of La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux

  • 12:30 : Lessons ending. You will receive your "La cité du Vin" pass to enter in the famous wine museum.
  • The meeting point will be in front of the "Cité du vin" building at 14h30.
  • To join the meeting point from ISVV, you can take the bus number 23 direction "Hippodrome" and stop at "Talence Forum" station.
  • Then get on the tramway "B" direction "Rives de Garonne" and get off at "La Cité du Vin" station
  • Your journey should last about 45 minutes
  • With your Entrance ticket you will be able to enter the Cité du vin and visit the permanent exhibition
  • You can stay at La Cité du Vin as long as you want. You will be free after this visit.

18th Sept - Visit of Hennessy and Seguin Moreau cooperage in Cognac

11h15 : lessons ending and Lunch box distribution
12h00 : The bus will be parked at ISVV and leave for Cognac at 12:00
14h00 : Arrival in Hennessy located in Cognac. Guided visit.
15h40 : Enf of the Hennessy visit and travel to Merpins.
16h00 : Arrival at the Seguin Moreau firm. Visit of the cooperage.
18h00 : End of the visit and return journey by bus to ISVV (about 2 hours)
